Raised in lower Manhattan Tiffany Davis was sheltered from the street life and groomed by her parents to be a lady. She met her husband Benard her first year in college. Disaster strikes, when one of Kino’s friends shows up on his grandmothers stoop with a proposition he can’t refuse and the lick goes wrong and Kino ends up on the run. Running for his life he gets a call from Tiffany and she doesn’t hesitate to help him. While tending to his needs she realizes that fate brought them together. So she lets her guard down and opens up her heart.
When her controlling husband finds out, the tables turn and Kino has to leave her side. But when love calls she answers in a heartbeat and her and Kino reunite only to endure a bigger tragedy. This time it’s Tiffany who needs help. Will Kino save her from her husband’s dark secret that’s now threatening her life? And if so what extreme will he go to, to do so? This is a page turner, I couldn't put it down. Don't know why Kino, didn't tell her when he thought about it, now there's a problem. Waiting for part 2. Loved it.
Great book. One of my favorite authors does it again. Funny street thug n love. All I need to make a book good. I love all the characters. You gotta read this book you won't be disappointed. Waiting for 2!! Well done
I can't wait until pt2 hit this was a good love story I can't wait until big mike catch his how of a wife ,I pray Tiffany give kino a change to explain what happen they are a good couples
I must say I did not see this coming, cause the King series was so different from this. Truly love the gold book. Plot, characters and storyline on point.
I really looked forward to reading rest of the collection. I picked up and didn't want to put it down. May God bless you in all your future endeavors!!

They storyline was good. There was some surprises in the book also some errors but not enough as to where you won't enjoy it.
